Eating Corn Pops and Thinking

So, I’m sitting here eating a bowl of Corn Pops and figuring out a few things:

1) What am I going to have for dinner. My bloody fridge has a freakin’ mind of its own. It has frozen all of my vegetables and I’m pretty pissed about that because as you know vegetables aren’t cheap. I have fiddled with the thermostat and it’s below the recommended setting.

I took my cucumber and lettuce out to fix a salad and yep they were both frozen. The cucumber was hard as a rock and it’s not like when it thaws you can salvage it. Parts of my lettuce was frozen, again it doesn’t thaw well. My cilantro is frozen and peppers, so my mango chutney or salsa is not going to be as tasty.

2) As I sit here with my bowl of Corn Pops and iTunes in the background (ah that Sam Smith), I’m also thinking about how to get back into the blogging groove. There were some things that I wanted to accomplish this year, which I will probably roll out slowly.

Here’s what I wanted to accomplish this year:

It sounds like a lot I know and it is, but I had and still have pretty lofty goals. I already resigned myself to not getting them all accomplished. I’ll start off with what I think is most important and that’s building better blogging relationships.

I’m also focusing on developing quality content and hit those hard topics, I’ve been wanting to talk about.

3) I’m officially on my second bowl of Corn Pops and reflecting on yesterday’s Weekend Coffee Share post. I stated that I’m getting back to my short story blog and book blog and I’ve been thinking, I’m going to have to come up with a serious schedule. Lots and lots of planning and prewriting. I’ve been doubting myself today about doing that, but I did do all three of them for a while before other things got in the way, which forced me to sacrifice them.

I’m sure there was something else I wanted to mention but Common 😻❤️ is on my iTunes and Lordy Lordy, I tell you, Common is just sop em up with biscuit.🔥So, needless to say I’m distracted.

Well, on that note I’m done. Happy Sunday!

Speak your peace . . .
